History
The Bharuch District Gujarati Mochi Community Council (Parishad) was established in 1966 under the leadership of President Shri Ranchhodbhai Khushalbhai Solanki and Secretary Shri Ishwarbhai Jivanbhai Chavda. Their vision laid the foundation for a strong and united community organization dedicated to social welfare and development.
On January 2, 1983, the 9th Community Convention was held at Vagara, marking the beginning of the Parishad's organized activities and operations. Subsequently, on January 19, 1984, the Bharuch District Gujarati Mochi Community Council was officially registered with the Charity Commissioner, Bharuch, under Registration No. A/1689.
On March 8, 1992, the 9th Convention was held at Sajod, where Shri Rameshchandra M. Bharucha was elected President and Shri Nalinchandra L. Chauhan assumed the responsibilities of Secretary.
To establish a permanent foundation for community activities, the Trust purchased non-agricultural land measuring 389.96 square meters (Plot No. 67) located in Bharuch Taluka on April 17, 1993.
The trustees of the property were:
- Shri Rameshbhai Mohanbhai Bharucha (Surat)
- Shri Gumanbhai Bhikhabhai Sajodwala (Ankleshwar)
- Shri Nalinchandra Lallubhai Chauhan (Kathor)
- Shri Ramjibhai Trikambhai Master (Ankleshwar)
- Shri Manharbhai Punjabhai Parmar (Bharuch)
On June 9, 1996, the 10th Convention was organized at Rajpipla. From 1966 to 2025, the Parishad continued to undertake various social, educational, welfare, and community development activities for the benefit of its members.
After a significant period, with the objective of accelerating the organization’s growth and strengthening community engagement, the 11th Convention was held in Bharuch on April 27, 2025. During this convention, the following trustees were unanimously elected:

Through these committees and continuous community engagement, the Bharuch District Gujarati Mochi Community Council remains committed to preserving values, promoting unity, and supporting the overall development of society.
